Melanie Warsinske & Joe Boddy, ELEMENTAL Combined image of two of their works

Mirada Fine Art presents two remarkable artists with almost 80 years of combined artistic experience and their contemporary interpretation of nature. Taking cues from her surroundings, local artist Melanie Warsinske translates elements—water, clouds, mountains, human and animal forms—into visual emotion and movement captured on canvas. Her richly textural work simultaneously exudes drama and serenity. Similarly inspired by the elements of Earth and our human struggle to live together, Joe Boddy’s sculpture epitomizes multi-media. ‘Rejected’ items take on a new life as fine art. Fired clay seamlessly combines with glass, discarded tools, cast iron farm equipment and recycled wood, resulting in beautifully organic pieces. These two amazing artists unite, brought together by a shared awe of Nature, at Mirada Fine Art for this Elemental exhibit.
