 In Review: Cherry Creek Arts Festival

Art festivals can be a mixed bag: while the pieces are often pleasant and well crafted, I find it rare that I am inspired or provoked by the works. Nonetheless, I have found the Cherry Creek Arts Festival—with a reputation as an event that highlights a broad spectrum of artists and styles—is certainly worth the trip (especially if you go early in the day and avoid the crowds.)
Here are some photos of the event, with a focus on local Denver artists on display, including Marie Vlasic, Bill Starke, Bill Amundson, Jimmy Sellars, Marie Gibbons and Jimmy Descant.
