Z Modern's Randy Roberts, keeping things Z, has opened the space between his modern furniture and design shop Z Modern and his vintage outlet Zeitgeist as "Z Art Dept." and kicked off the new gallery with an exhibit highlighting the career of husband/wife team Edward and Donna Marecak. The Kirkland Museum recently payed homage to the duo with a retrospective back in 2008, but the Z show features a number of prints that were not seen at the Kirkland as well as a wonderful large work "Wise Venus." Per Roberts, expect shows from the estates of additional well known Colorado artists including Herbert Beyer. - KLH
