 Artist Mia Mulvey - photo by Ken Hamel/DenverArts.org Mia Mulvey's show titled "New Work" utilizes the repetition of beautiful porcelain specimens taken from 3-D scans and prints of once-living animals. Her displays are exquisite and haunting as they touch on ideas of extinction, death, collection, and ultimately our relationship with nature. Mia is a Denver artist, also an Assistant Professor of Ceramics at the University of Denver. Mulvey will be a guest on the popular podcast untitledartshow.com September 16th, 2009 at 8pm CST.
