Mark Brasuell: (In) Particular
New drawings from Mark Brasuell featuring Pastel on Paper
Mark Brasuell is presenting a new body of work based on the idea of “Parts”, and how those parts create a whole image. Wild, Vibrant, and Bold, the drawings are unique in that people generally do not present large scale Pastel work. An integral artist in Colorado, Mark has presented work for 30 years and this showing presents a new and original direction, surely, not to missed.

Mary Mackey: Read Between The Lines
Read between the lines is defined as: To find meanings that are intended but that are not directly expressed.
Look for or discover a meaning that is hidden or implied rather that explicitly stated.
I have been concentrating most of my efforts this last year on ceramics, and have found the tactical and sculpting of the clay to be very satisfying.
For this show particularly I have been working toward a balance of minimal and sublime aesthetic.

my work examines the elasticity of nostalgia. re-contextualizing slivered memory constructs a pliant simulation of a past divorced from the bounds of narrative. the grass isn’t so much greener as razed.
