Barbara Baer - Harmony, 2017

Barbara Baer's installation "Harmony" uses visual clues from two iconic twentieth-century paintings to examine the meaning of Harmony. Plastic, steel and fabric form a walk-in metaphor for an abstract idea. This staged environment considers Harmony as a quality often desired but in reality neither predictable nor tranquil.
April Noble - Nature's Geometry (detail), 2017

April Noble's ceramic installation piece "Nature's Geometry" explores the fascinating geometry found in nature from the shape of leaves to minuscule details of pollen that we do not normally see. Rather than taking the natural shapes, April Noble has reduced them to their basic geometric shapes and enlarged them so that they can be enjoyed in this large-scale ceramic installation. Come explore this geometrically inspired garden, taking time to contemplate its simple complexity.
