Brucker's paintings are strictly 2 dimensional, based on microscopic images of protein crystals but certainly belie their scientific provenance through the artist's loose, seemingly naive hand. Also on display in the Core Annex is a group show curated by Susan Barnes-Gelt featuring work by Mark Penner-Howell who had a solo show at Core a few months back, as well as video work by CU Boulder instructor Lee Wiesenfeld.
