Presented by Arts Brookfield in collaboration with with the Museum of Outdoor Arts and the University of Colorado Denver, Ties Forward is a site-specific temporary sculpture installation created by students through the Museum of Outdoor Arts’ Design and Build public art program. This year’s project was held as a class taught by University of Colorado Denver College of Arts and Media faculty and professional artist, Rian Kerrane.
About Design and Build:
Since 1991, MOA’s Design and Build program has provided an opportunity for young artists, students and creative minds to express their creativity in collaborative art projects. Assisted by professional artists in residence, Design and Build participants produce exciting and original site-specific art works for MOA’s gallery and public spaces in the Denver metro area. Interns find creative solutions to practical challenges as they master the skills to transform their creative ideas into finished pieces.
