Born in Texas and educated in the East, Nancy Switzer’s reach is shown not only in her personal history, but also through her work. She has exhibited in galleries across the U.S., and has appeared in numerous art publications and catalogs. Gallery 1261 in Denver invites you to experience Nancy Switzer’s work first-hand at an opening reception and exhibition this March and April.

Gallery 1261 is a contemporary art space that sits in the heart of the Golden Triangle arts scene just a short walk from the Denver Art Museum’s new wing designed by renowned architect Daniel Liebeskind. The vision of Gallery 1261 is one of enhanced freedom in the experience of art for both artists and appreciators of art, meaning it is driven not by commercial tastes or market standards, but rather by pure expression and artistic talent. It is located at 1261 Delaware Street in Denver.
