Robert St. John: "Projects 2018"

PROJECTS 2018 is an experimental exploration of the creative process through the combined media of sculpture and prints. It re-imagines the gallery space as an "idea laboratory" where the art is ever-evolving. As the exhibition begins, many of the featured artworks will broadly address current social issues.

Kathryn Oberdorfer: "In and Of Itself"

This exhibition of abstract paintings is an exploration of irregular shapes and invented colors with the color “green” being the unifying element. To quote Alexander Calder, “They signify nothing, refer to nothing but themselves: They are, that is all …”

In the North Gallery: Deborah Howard
"Book Burning And Other Stories My Mother Told Me"

This exhibition of experimental drawings explores radical politics and social justice in the Chicago Jewish community in the 1930’s and 40’s. It includes small works and a monumental wall drawing created by University of Denver Painting Professor Deborah Howard and her students.
