Barbara Baer - Hosta, 2019

Barbara Baer "Planted"

It's about trees: visual studies of the power of the planted world. Images from wild and urban forests cloak a landscape of temporary installations. These experimental structures use the gallery as an armature, exploiting the natural forces of time, tension, friction, and gravity.

Gary Manuel "Turning"

The name “Turning” applies to the spiral forms that I am incorporating in some of my new pieces, but also to the fact that I am turning some indoor sculptures into outdoor. I am not just changing the name to outdoor, but actually incorporating bases into the design. I will still have wood sculptures, but the ideas will be wall reliefs for indoor presentation, that is until I can turn them into outdoor!

Rob Watt "Embroidery: New Work"

The artist is like a cat, very sensitive to changes in their environment. Like the cat, however, we adapt to our new surroundings. Last year, I moved from Denver to Colorado Springs and my show reflects both my new surroundings and my former preoccupations with my usual subjects as I've settled in.
