Pink Progression, features over forty notable Colorado artists whose artwork is inspired by the 2017 and 2018 historic, women's march. During the marches, pink created a strong visual statement representing unity and empowerment. Artists incorporate or reject this hue as it reflects manifestations of personal, social, and gender connections.
Pink Progression includes all gender identities and expressions. Each exhibit is unique, featuring different works by each of the artists. Pink Progression's three exhibits collectively occur over a six month period, February 16 through August 18, 2018. The exhibit also includes collaborative artwork and a book, Words: Resist and Persist, a collection of poems and comic art from local writers and artists.
