Damien Hirst and Jeff KoonsGallery TNovember 6 - December 20, 2008Opening reception: Thursday November 6, 2008 from 6:00 – 9:00 pmLong time Denver art dealer Ron Judish is back with a new gallery on Santa Fe Drive that will surely raise the bar for an area that has received much local attention but offers minimal returns in the way of nationaly known artists. "Gallery T" (or just T if you like) will be kicking off with a show including the works of international superstar artists Jeff Koons and Damien Hirst (when it rains it pours, as Hirst currently has 4 works at the MCA Denver.) Equally as exciting as the inagural show is that Judish aims to highlight works that he has consigned from various collectors and national galleries, offering locals the chance to purchase art from outside the Denver gene pool without having to travel. Judish and gallery partner Andrew Kalmar have also snagged some of Denver's top artistic talent including Ian Fisher (out of the Redline stable of artists) and Bill Stockman whose exhibit at the Singer Gallery was among Denver's artistic highlights back in 2007. - KLH Kyle MacMillan of the Denver Post: Gallery vet brings superstar artists to Santa Fe Drive Gallery T 878-2 Santa Fe Drive Denver, CO 80204 303.893.0960 http://galleryt.org
