Chromatic Attraction is an exhibition of recent paintings by Denver artist Christine Fontenot. A collection of works that explores color relationships across figurative, floral, and still-life genres, it seeks to remind us of the beauty that abounds in our everyday lives. Subjects include complementary colors, roses from the Rose Garden at Denver’s City Park, portrait and figurative works. Fontenot creates works that are both accessible and draw the viewer’s attention to the complexity of color and the beauty it creates. She encourages the viewer to be present; to slow down, unplug, and experience the daily sights with senses attuned.
