The EventGallery 910Arts presents "Rip/Tear & Shoot," an exhibition of collages by Janice McDonald who combines fragments of collected paper and recycled imagery, and landscape photography of Bill Bonebrake who travels miles and miles of Colorado backroads every year, capturing vivid seasonal scenes. The exhibition opens on Friday, April 16, with an artists' reception from 6 to 8 p.m., and runs through May 29, in the gallery space at 910 Santa Fe Drive, Denver.

"I make fine art collages by 'painting' with fragments of paper," says Ms. McDonald. "All are hand-made of original source materials collected from my daily life and wanderings." Her fascination with colors, textures, shapes and negative spaces leads her to deconstruct images and re-integrate elements to create something completely new, intuitive and visually experimental.

Proceeds from the sale of Bill Bonebrake's photographs benefit the Colorado Environmental Coalition, now celebrating its 45th anniversary of working statewide on land, water, recreation, habitat, transportation, growth, legislation and other issues that affect our environment. Visit www.OurColorado.org for more information.

"Because I make my living by photographing the Colorado landscape, it is especially important to me to support organizations that work to preserve the natural beauty of our state," says Mr. Bonebrake.

In addition to the artists' reception scheduled for opening night, events planned during the run of the exhibition include Doors Open Denver expert guided tours on April 17 and 18, Film Night showing "Tapped" on April 22, The Foodie Call Supper Club on April 30, First Friday Art Walk on May 7, Third Friday Collectors Night on May 21 and Film Night showing "Dirt! The Movie" on May 27. Complete details are available at 910Arts.com.
