(from the press release) FLASH Gallery is pleased to present a group show titled WEE: A Small Photography Exhibit. The exhibition will run Friday, November 21st through Sunday, January 4th, 2009. The opening reception will be held Friday, November 21st from 6-9pm. Artists Greg Cradick, Ellen Yeiser, Jasmine Champion, Katie Taft, and Owen O’Meara are among some of those to be featured in the exhibition. The photographs in this exhibit will not be framed larger than 14” in any one direction, hence the name “Wee.” Artists in this exhibit have taken into consideration that small art has a different intent than works printed large and are imparting that to the viewer. Small work asks you to get close, to examine, to experience the work one on one. The Wee exhibit invites an intimate relationship between the viewer and the image and allows them to explore it further.
