THE GREEN SHOW

CORE New Art Space presents "The Green Show," a juried exhibition. For the Green Show, an exhibition featuring art in all media, artists were asked to present work that explores the concept of green in all its facets, including the color green, green money, and green living. This question of "green" is particularly topical for our time, as the idea of green has made its way into many aspects of daily life.

The juror for this exhibition is Mia Fetterman-Mulvey, ceramics professor at the University of Denver, whose work has been shown nationally and internationally. Of her ceramics work, Fetterman-Mulvey states, "I am interested in the illustrative, educational representation of objects that reflect the notions of wonder and natural beauty." She received her M.F.A. from Cranbrook School of Art in Michigan, and has held residencies at the John Michael Kohler Center of Arts in Wisconsin and the Experimental Clay Company in Athens, Greece.
