(from the press release) From Fun, to Funky, to Haute Couture, artists were invited to enter their footwear inspired creations to Marie E.v.B. Gibbons call for entry: sole•purpose, hosted at her studio / show room in North Denver. The result is an amazing show of over 30 ceramic shoes. Artists created narrative, realistic, historical and metaphorical pieces that are sure to please the Art and Shoe connoisseur alike! Marie E.v.B.
