Foothills Art Center is thrilled to present 22 new works by seven of New York's exciting young video artists. While this thoroughly engaging art form originated in the 1960s and 1970s, today's creative artists are breaking ground in the fast-evolving world of video technology. Not to be confused with filmmaking, video art instead can be thought of as "time-based painting."

The video selections pertain to the struggle with personal identity and how we relate to ourselves, others and society. Whether the artist's approach is whimsical or disconcerting, all of these works are thought-provoking and interesting. Don't miss this opportunity-the works will be on display for five days only.
