| Clay: Picking Up the Pace Janey Skeer Build large functional and sculptural clay forms. This workshop focuses on effective, time-saving techniques for hand-building. Create dramatic surfaces that vary in depth and detail. Explore texture using steel, wood, and plastic as stamps to make impressions in clay. Figure Drawing and Painting Andrea Kemp This class will explore various approaches to the nude human figure using the fundamental elements of composition. Emphasis will be placed on line quality, shapes, values, and edges. Learn methods and techniques to assist you in achieving accurate proportions in your work. |
| Screen Printing Mark Friday Screen printing allows an artist to print images on materials ranging from paper to fabric. This workshop will teach you the basics of screen printing — from building screens to creating multi-colored prints — which can be translated easily to the classroom. $15 materials fee |
