Night at the Museums

2 years post unveiling the "new" Daniel Libeskind designed Hamilton
Building, the city keeps trying to recreate the magic of that opening
weekend back in 2006 via "Denver Arts Week" which debuted around the
first anniversary of the Hamilton Building's inauguration back in 2007
but has morphed into a mid-November event for 2008. Last Friday saw a
slew of gallery openings which ostensibly where part of the "week," and
this Friday offers a decidedly more institutional vibe with a variety
of museums open late offering free or discounted admission. More

Denver Art Museum hosting Ballet Ariel and the Hannah Kahn Dance Company presenting "Contemporary Forms in Space and Time" in the Hamilton building lobby at 6:30 and 8:00 pm.

Museo de Las Americas leading guests through a special tour of the "Fine Line" exhibit at 6:30 pm. (Note many of the usual Santa Fe Drive suspects will be open ala normal First Friday evening hours.)
