King Pakal’s Mayan Space Adventures is an original production by middle school students in DAVA’s Job Training programs facilitated by guest artist Ryan Ballard, Director of Razzamataz Productions in Denver, CO. Bring your sense of humor and imagination as we follow King Pakal’s adventures into outer space to save his Mayan kingdom from ruin. Show highlights will include 12 foot puppets designed and created by DAVA students, special effects, and pyrotechnics. The performance will be outside in the parking lot at Downtown Aurora Visual Arts, located at 1405 Florence St., one block south of Colfax in Original Aurora. The puppet show is free and open to the public.
