2nd Annual Gay on Santa Fay Art WalkSanta Fe Arts DistrictThursday June 19, 2008: 5:00 - 9:00 pm
(from the GOSF website) On Thursday, June 19, from 5 to 9 p.m., the galleries on the 700 block of Santa Fe Drive in Denver will be celebrating art and diversity with Gay On Santa Fay. The official unofficial kick-off celebration for PrideFest 2008 will be a mixture of traditional art forms along with performance art and some funky installations. Selected artists will be donating up to 20% of all sales through out the weekend to one of our cooperating partners. The purchaser may direct the contribution to either the Colorado Aids Project, PFLAG Denver, The Center, Project Angel Heart or the National Center for Lesbian Rights (NCLR). Just look for the wall label that has the pink Mona Lisa on it and select your charity. Wine tasting and beer samplings will be provided by many Denver merchants in several galleries, in addition to h'ors d'oeuvres, free chair massage and live entertainment.
