BCHQ Group Exhibition: The Fulfillment Center

Friday, September 13, 2019 from 6:00 – 10:00 p.m.

Black Cube Headquarters (BCHQ), 2nd Floor, 2925 S. Umatilla Street, Englewood

Black Cube is publicly opening its headquarters (BCHQ) with a “bash” and experimental group exhibition titled The Fulfillment Center. This FREE public party celebrates the nomadic museum’s new hub – a space for our offices, art production, and the occasional revolutionary exhibition.

There will be two days of activities at BCHQ on Friday, September 13 and Saturday, September 14. On Friday night, we kick off with our opening party (including an experimental contemporary art exhibition, special performances, live music, food trucks, themed cocktails, and more). Then, on Saturday afternoon we’re hosting a lecture titled The Architectures of Fulfillment by special guest Jesse LeCavalier, as well as a series of artist panel discussions.

About The Fulfillment Center:

Curated by Cortney Lane Stell, The Fulfillment Center presents commissioned artworks that respond to the hidden aspects of ecommerce logistics. By bringing together innovative artworks by 18 local, national, and international contemporary artists, this exhibition considers the changing context of warehouses under the digital economy.
