Eric Matelski: "Step In It"GallerskiOpening Reception: Saturday July 31st 6-9 pm Step In It - Eric Matelski  Eric Matelski - photo by Ken Hamel/DenverArts.org (from the press release) Gallerski currently hosts the art of “STEP IN IT” “STEP IN IT” was an experimental project in 2006 that involved people visiting Eric Matelski’s studio stepping in paint and walking over a large canvas on the floor. Later, Eric cut out the pieces with the best compositions and created a whole series of artwork. This collection has not been shown since 2007. This one night July 31st will feature original “STEP IN IT” artwork, plus video and special audio track captured from the original night of creation on February 3rd 2006. Guests of Gallerski will also have a chance this night to step in paint and leave their mark on a whole new series of canvases. Gallerski is only open by appointment or for special events.
