The Key Savings and Loan Association building, designed by Charles Deaton, is a Colorado treasure and an enduring example of Mid-Century Modernist Design. That’s why we’re proud to sponsor the 50th birthday celebration of Deaton’s Englewood bank. In addition to their ongoing exhibit, which ends September 22, The Museum of Outdoor Arts is hosting an open house along with historical talks on Thursday, September 7 at Community Banks of Colorado, 3501 S. Broadway in Englewood––free and open to the public from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.!
Architect Charles Deaton (1921-1996) designed the Key Savings and Loan Bank Building located at 3501 S. Broadway in Englewood, CO. This building celebrates 50 years in 2017 and is considered a local architectural gem. The structure is now occupied by Community Banks of Colorado and the Greater Englewood Chamber of Commerce.
