Call For Artists: Boom at the DNC

Artists – want your voices heard and your work seen during the Democratic National Convention?
Join us for the second outing of Boom, the nomadic gallery that made it’s first dramatic appearance during the grand opening of the DAM!

All prospective artists will be juried, but there is no limit to the number of artists accepted. More artists equals more trucks! We’ll be creating our galleries in the back of trucks as before, so to be a part of Boom you must be committed and reliable. Although we will be looking for sponsorship & donations, each artist must be willing to commit a minimum of 20 hours to build & sit the truck(s), and potentially up to $200 to pay for trucks & materials. (We expect the total amount to be much less, and we WILL be looking for sponsorship and donations – the number is a “worst case scenario” to complete the project, which will benefit all involved.)
In exchange for the above commitments, your work will be seen by thousands visiting our city from all over the country in a non-censored, free to the public mobile show! Our visitor estimate for the last Boom was over 5000 visitors – where else in Denver can you have that many people see your work?
