Artists are invited to create digital images using a flatbed scanner instead of a camera. There are many different techniques to creating scanner art. Develop your own style by arranging a composition of few or many objects directly on the flatbed scanner. Painting on the flatbed scanner is also a possibility. After the image is completed on the scanner photo editing can then be applied if you choose. Use your creative abilities and scan something new.

She arranges items to create pleasing compositions resulting in crisp, dramatic, undistracted images that depict the simultaneous stillness and energy of an object. She prints the resulting scans on photographic paper and presents them in a large format. She continues to explore new ways to use the flatbed scanner as a creative tool.
